The terms of L'Chaim Center's text-messaging program.

Program Description

L'Chaim Center of the Northshore Inc ("L'Chaim Center," "we," "us") operates a text-messaging program to keep our community informed. By opting in, you agree to receive recurring, non-marketing and marketing text messages such as event reminders, class and program updates, High Holiday information, and community announcements.

How You Opt In

You opt in only through our dedicated Text Updates sign-up form. On that page, you enter your name and mobile number and actively check a standalone consent checkbox that is unchecked by default. The disclosure beside the checkbox identifies the message types, states that message frequency varies and message and data rates may apply, and explains how to use STOP and HELP before you submit the form. Merely giving us a phone number, registering for an event, attending a program, or making a donation does not enroll you in the SMS program. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of any purchase, registration, or donation.

Message Frequency & Cost

Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Message and data rates are charged by your mobile carrier and are your responsibility. L'Chaim Center is not liable for delayed or undelivered messages; delivery is subject to your carrier's and device's conditions.

Opting Out & Getting Help

You can cancel the SMS program at any time by texting STOP to the number you receive messages from. After you send STOP, we will send you a one-time message confirming that you have been unsubscribed, and you will no longer receive messages from us. If you want to rejoin, sign up again as you did the first time. For help, text HELP to the same number, email rabbig@lchaimcenter.org, or call (708) 613-0628.

Privacy

We respect your privacy. We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile phone number or your SMS opt-in consent with any third parties or affiliates for their own marketing purposes. Your mobile information is used solely to operate this messaging program. For details, please review our Privacy Policy.

Supported Carriers

Carriers, including but not limited to AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, and their affiliates, are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
