Chag Pesach Sameach!

What is Passover?

Passover (Pesach) celebrates the Exodus from Egypt — the foundational story of Jewish freedom and identity. It is one of the most widely observed Jewish holidays.

For eight days, we refrain from eating chametz (leavened bread), eating matzah instead to remember the bread that didn't have time to rise as our ancestors fled Egypt.

The Seder night is the centerpiece of Passover — families gather around the table, read the Haggadah, eat symbolic foods, sing songs, and retell the story of liberation across generations.
