Raising $4500 by 10/25
Rabbi David and Ali’s son, Aryeh Leib (Leiby) is currently serving in the Givati Brigade of the Israeli Defense Forces. His unit is about to be deployed to the Gaza border charged with the responsibility of keep Israel safe from the south.
They will be there through the winter months when the temperatures drop to freezing. The IDF provides them with basic uniforms and gear but they have been told by other soldiers that they need addition protection from the cold that aren’t provided. They are looking to buy a coat a sweater for each of the 40 soldiers in their unit. The total cost comes to $4500.
The L’Chaim Center family is working together to raise the money for “Leiby” and his fellow soldiers to keep them warm as they serve to protect the Jewish people in Israel and around the world. This is a special opportunity to directly help these young men who have sacrificed on all of our behalf.
It would be an honor to raise money for their gear before they deploy on November 1. No amount is too small or too large. Every dollar raised will go directly to these brave IDF soldiers.
